in Miami they have a tiny little plastic mixer that runs on batteries..it works and froths up good. its about 5.00 dollars. the mixer has one beater.i think you can use a blender but it has to be fat-free milk...if i remember correctly. good luck...I'm a coffee freak and i am presently into Turkish coffee that i grind myself at the grocery store.i dollop with canned whipped cream and it dissolves like froth. u might try reddy-whip.

put the coffee with the milk in a mixing jug then blend for about 30secs-a minute. mmmm frothy...

Heat milk on the stove in a sauce pan and whip with a whisk to create foam. At coffee shops they do it by steaming the milk so your froth will not be as dense but it'll do.
