Is an expresso maker and a cappuccino maker the same?
If not please explain the difference.

Well, actually an espresso machine just makes the espresso, which goes in lattes, cappuccinos, caramel machiatos, americanos, mocha, etc.

Espressos, are basically just shots. Concentrates, if you will.

To make a cuppuccino, you first add in the shots, depending on how strong you want the coffee to be. Then, you add steamed milk. Fill half the cup, and top up with foam.

Lattes and Cuppuccinos are basically the same, just that lattes has more milk.

Hopes this helps a bit.
I just became a barista a few weeks ago. I don't know a whole lot, but I will share what I know with you. Espresso is used to make cappuccinos. An espresso machine normally is used for brewing finely ground espresso. If you use a cappuccino machine, it has the exact amount of espresso, milk and froth measured out already. Espresso is just an ingredient used to make cappuccinos. Hope that helps a little.
you use the expresso's to make cappuccino.
a cappucino maker is probably automated like those ones in Mcdonalds that spit out the cappucino or whatever drink you request.

An espresso maker makes shots of espresso. Those shots can then be mixed to make cappucinos and lattes as others have said.
expresso maker and cappuccino maker are the same..
It`s just that there are ingredients not found on the other. :))
